Miscarriage Management
Miscarriage is when a pregnancy has ended and is no longer progressing. Miscarriage is more common than most people realize. Up to 20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage.
You may be experiencing a miscarriage if you have spotting (light to heavy bleeding) during pregnancy. You may also pass clots and experience pain in your abdomen or cramping.
Miscarriage management is the same process as an elective abortion. It is important to receive these services because you are at risk for infection there is any pregnancy tissue remaining inside of your body. You can choose between a surgical abortion with any level of pain management, including being totally asleep. You also have the option to manage the miscarriage with medication.
Funding is available if you do not have health insurance or if your health insurance will not sufficiently cover the services.
