Payments

All patients are expected to pay $200 at the time of their first appointment, with the balance due at the second appointment. We cannot compute your exact fee until we see you in the clinic and understand your medical history.

Fees

We are committed to keeping our fees as low as possible while maintaining the highest quality care. More than 90% of our patients receive some form of financial assistance to help cover some part of the cost of their abortion services at Preterm. If you are worried about your ability to pay for your abortion, please talk to us.

The fees listed include local anaesthesia. Oral or conscious sedation or anesthesia may be elected, and in some cases are required, for an extra fee. Also included are routine lab work, ultrasound, counseling session, routine antibiotics, follow-up exam, and birth control supplies. Post-abortion counseling is also available at no extra charge. Additional fees will apply if you need Rhogam (required for patients with Rh- blood) and other some other medications.

First Trimester

The fees listed here are our full fees. Women who are uninsured, on public assistance, or facing other financial difficulties may qualify for financial assistance grants.

  • Surgical abortion (through 12 weeks): $410

  • Medication abortion* (to 7 weeks): $590

*requires four visits, including a follow-up exam

 

Second Trimester

The fees listed here are our full fees. Women who are uninsured, on public assistance, or facing other financial difficulties may qualify for financial assistance grants.

  • 13-14 weeks: $510
  • 15-16 weeks: $610

Late Second Trimester (3-day Procedure)

  • 17-18 weeks: $885*
  • 19-20 weeks: $1085*
  • 21-22 weeks: $1285*
 *Conscious sedation is required and included in the fee. If anesthesia is necessary, fee will be slightly higher.

Private patient abortion appointments are also available by special arrangement. Fees begin at $1410.
